NOTD: OPI You're Such a Budapest

Hey Lovelies,

The best way to start the new week is always doing my new mani! I just came across this amazing shade, You're such a Budapest by OPI, which came out with the Euro-Central collection in 2013. I remember how much I loved that collection, the shades were amazing, plus I felt like, as a good Hungarian girl, I have to get the Hungary-themed colors. :) You're such a Budapest is a bright, light periwinkle, a perfect lilac shade. I can detect a tiny amount of shimmer in it, but it's all very subtle.

Another reason why I love this shade is that it's a typical spring color, so it reminds me that winter is really coming to an end slowly. :)

Review of Wet 'n Wild Eyeshadow Trio in 380B Walking on Eggshells

Hey Lovelies,

I'm pretty sure that Walking on Eggshells is the most well-known product by Wet 'n Wild. Everybody seems to know that for only 3 bucks, you are getting three very usable and good quality eyeshadows, which happen to be great dupes for three of MAC's best selling shades as well.

Review of Bobbi Brown Blush in Pale Pink

Hey Lovelies,

On my recent visit to my local Bobbi Brown counter to pick up a foundation (which I reviewed here), I got to try some other products as well. One of the things that the make-up artist used on me was Pale Pink blush, which looked kinda scary in the pan, but on my cheeks it was absolutely stunning, so I ended up picking it up too.

NOTD: Fruit Sangria by Essie

Hey Lovelies,

It's time to start the new week, and the best way to do that is to do your mani. :) Have you guys noticed that winter passes a lot slower after the holiday season? In any case, I felt like I needed something bright in these cold and grey days that we have here, so Fruit Sangria caught my eyes on my nail polish reck. Essie describes the shade a hot pink, which sounds about right.  I originally got this shade because it's reminded me of Watermelon, which is one of my all time favorite nail colors. The difference between the two shades is that Watermelon is a cream finish while Fruit Sangria has some golden shimmer in it.

Review of Estee Lauder Pure Color Eye Trio in Amber Alloy

Hey Lovelies,

On a recent visit to my local Estee Lauder store, as I was chatting with the SA, I realized that, while I always had a lot of interest in their skincare, I have overlooked their make-up products. My knowledge is basically limited to the fact that the Doublewear foundation is very popular. So I started experimenting with some eyeshadows. I wanted to pick up something foolproof and when the SA showed me this eye trio, I knew, I've found my pick.

My Skincare Routine

Hey Lovelies,

I've been meaning to do this post forever, but I always let some new and shiny make-up distract my attention from the skincare topic. However, now I finally put it together, I hope you find this helpful!

I've been using the same products for a long time now, I find that this routine works really well for me. I have normal skin, in wintertime it leans more dry and in summer I get a little oily in my T-zone. I'm quite lucky that my skin is not particularly problematic, but I guess that's also because I try to take good care of it. I'm turning 31 this year so obviously age preventing is one of my main goals. However, since my skin is in pretty good shape, I don't use a ton of anti-aging products. Something I've noticed that people usually don't consider is that your skin is an organ, so if you're not healthy on the inside, you will totally be able to tell from the skin. Hydratation from the inside is key, it doesn't matter how fancy creams you're using if you don't drink enough water. And of course sunscreen is a must, the only reason why I didn't add it to this list is because we barely ever see the sun in wintertime where I live. :)
