My Skincare Routine

Hey Lovelies,

I've been meaning to do this post forever, but I always let some new and shiny make-up distract my attention from the skincare topic. However, now I finally put it together, I hope you find this helpful!

I've been using the same products for a long time now, I find that this routine works really well for me. I have normal skin, in wintertime it leans more dry and in summer I get a little oily in my T-zone. I'm quite lucky that my skin is not particularly problematic, but I guess that's also because I try to take good care of it. I'm turning 31 this year so obviously age preventing is one of my main goals. However, since my skin is in pretty good shape, I don't use a ton of anti-aging products. Something I've noticed that people usually don't consider is that your skin is an organ, so if you're not healthy on the inside, you will totally be able to tell from the skin. Hydratation from the inside is key, it doesn't matter how fancy creams you're using if you don't drink enough water. And of course sunscreen is a must, the only reason why I didn't add it to this list is because we barely ever see the sun in wintertime where I live. :)

Comparison of Urban Decay Sin and Sellout Eyeshadows

Hey Lovelies,

Have you guys noticed that we are usually attracted to the same or at least similar things? I have dozens of dresses which look almost the same, I've always been attracted to similar types of men, and, in eyeshadows, I'm all about neutral, peachy-pinky-beige basic shades. This post started out as a comparison of Urban Decay Sin and Sellout eyeshadows, but then I decided to add their sister from the MAC line, Naked Lunch, to the party as well.

NOTD: Deborah Lippmann I Know What Boys Like

Hey Lovelies,

The new week has to start with new mani! Today I'm wearing I know what boy's like by Deborah Lippmann, a fascinating periwinkle creme. Deborah Lippmann polishes are amazing quality, very nicely pigmented and luxurious. I used two coats for the picture below:

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Review

Hey Lovelies,

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation is such a cult product and yet it seems to have very mixed reviews in the beauty community. Since I recently started being into Bobbi Brown products, when I realized, that all of my foundations have become too dark for my pale winter skin, I went straight to the Bobbi Brown counter to find a new foundation. I already own the Skin Foundation Stick, so I was immediately gravitating towards the Skin Foundation and I have to say I was not disappointed!

NOTD: Essence Do You Speak Love?

Hey Lovelies,

Let's start this week too with a quick nail post! Winter manis are all about dark and vampy colors, and  I recently discovered Essence Do You Speak Love?, which is absolutely what I was looking for. First I just got sucked in for the name, but it's a great polish, especially for the price.

Review of Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Color in Crushed Plum

Hey Lovelies,

Today I'm reviewing one of my recent purchases, the Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Color in Crushed Plum. I've been looking for a more vampy, darker winter shade and I've read some bloggers rave about this color, so I decided to give it a try. It must be a popular color, because at my local Bobbi Brown counter, this was the only lipstick shade which was sold out. However, I managed to hunt it down in the end, and I'm so happy I did!
